The Third Annual Quilt Exhibit 2014: The Planning & Preparation

 

 

In celebration of Black History Month, Sisters Quilting Collective (SQC) hosted its 3rd annual Quilt Exhibit entitled “Our Stories in Quilts: Quilts That Are Inspired by the Stories in Our Lives,” February 1st through February 15th 2014 at The Brickhouse Art Gallery, 2837 36^th Street, Sacramento CA. 95817. The exhibit will highlight African-American Quilters and their Quilts.

The Sister Quilting Collective (SQC) is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically, to bring awareness of the historical value of African-American quilts, as well as to celebrate and continue the tradition of quilting.
