Your homeowner’s or business insurance policies may protect your quilts / entries.  The Sisters Quilting Collective’s (SQC)  insurance is a personal injury liability policy only. It does not provide any protection against property damage, loss or theft.  We will handle entries with care and watch guests to prevent improper handling of the entries, however, SQC cannot accept financial responsibility for any loss or damage that may happen to the property of entrants or vendors. Therefore, SQC requires ALL entrants and vendors to sign the following statement:

SQC’s Quilt & Textile Show at Sacramento City College

Just a sneak preview of the show at Sacramento City College. In celebration of Black History Month Sisters Quilting Collective (SQC), presents “A Quilt Show & Textile Celebration” at Sacramento City College’s campus library on the 3rd floor in Special Events Room; and on the 3rd floor of Rodda Hall North from Tuesday, February 2 through Monday, February 29, 2016. The quilt & textile show features beautiful quilts, books highlighting African American quilting and quilters; wearable art items, dolls, art work and much more.

 About Sisters Quilting Collective (SQC)
SQC began in 2012 after an exhibition of quilts held at the Brickhouse Art Gallery in Sacramento, California.

The mission of the SQC is to bring awareness of the historical value of African-American quilts, and quilters as well as to celebrate and continue the tradition of quilting.

We are seeking the Sacramento community’s support and co-sponsorships.  Your generous donations will be used for the keynote speaker’s honorarium, printing, mailing costs, equipment rental costs, as well as refreshments for the receptions and the community lecture. 

All co-sponsors' names will be listed on the event’s program, as well as an invitation to a private reception scheduled for Friday, March 18th 2016.   

Connie Horne will be our 2016 featured quilt artist and award winning fiber artist.

 “Quilts of Many Colors” Quilt Show

March 19^th and 20^th, 2016

On or before January 15, 2016 to complete the Vendor/Exhibitor’s Information page and pay the appropriate fee.  Checks should be payable to:

	Mail to: Sisters Quilting Collective Attention: Vendor Application P.O. Box 5486 Sacramento, CA  95817-0486  65.00 for both days
	To stay within the space allotted for my booth.
	Table cloths must be furnished by the vendor.
	All displays must be placed on tables within space allotted.
	Excess merchandise and boxes must be stored out of sight.

6.    Each vendor will be asked to provide a gift for the raffle drawing.

I have read and agree to abide by all of the guidelines for participating in the Sisters Quilting Collective “Quilts of Many Colors” quilt show.  I understand that SQC reserves the right to ask any vendor to leave the premises if she/he breaks a City Ordinance and/or guidelines of SQC.

Vendor shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless SQC, the Oak Park Community Center, and the City of Sacramento, their officers, agents or employees, from and against any and all liability.  Loss, expense, attorney’s fees, or claim for injury or damages arising out of the performance of the Agreement but only in proportion to and the extent such liability, loss, expense, attorney’s fee or claims for injury or damages are caused by or result from the negligent or intentional act or omissions of vendor, his/her officers, agents or employees.  

Space is available in the form of one six (6) foot long table and two (2) chairs. Vendors may bring up to two additional chairs,

Vendors must carry their own liability insurance and Seller’s Permit. There is ample parking, loading and unloading spaces.
