Alice Beasley’s visit to Brickhouse Art Gallery : The Sisters Quilting Collective (SQC) at the Brickhouse Art
Gallery hosted Ms. Alice Beasley,Quilter and Artist Saturday, February 23, 2013. Alice
Beasley has been creating fabric portrait quilts and wire sculptures in the San
Francisco Bay area since 1988. Ms. Beasley is a member of the African American
Quilt Guild of Oakland & the Studio Art Quilters Association. More than 150
community members gathered (from throughout the region: Roseville, Auburn, Davis,
Woodland, Elk Grove, Folsom, Lodi,Stockton,West Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, and
