History Month. The 2016 theme is “Quilts of Many Colors.” The quilt exhibit
is scheduled for

March 19 and Sunday, March 20, 2016

About
Sisters Quilting Collective (SQC)
SQC began in 2012 after an exhibition of quilts held at the Brickhouse Art Gallery in Sacramento, California.
SQC began in 2012 after an exhibition of quilts held at the Brickhouse Art Gallery in Sacramento, California.
The
mission of the SQC is to bring awareness of the historical
value of African-American quilts, and quilters as well as to celebrate and
continue the tradition of quilting.
We
are seeking the Sacramento community’s support and co-sponsorships. Your
generous donations will be used for the keynote speaker’s honorarium, printing,
mailing costs, equipment rental costs, as well as refreshments for the
receptions and the community lecture.
All
co-sponsors' names will be listed on the event’s program, as well as an
invitation to a private reception scheduled for Friday, March
18th 2016.
Connie Horne
will be our 2016 featured quilt artist and award winning fiber artist.

1, 2016.
The Quilt Exhibit starts Saturday, March 19
2016, and ends Sunday, March 20, 2016.
The Quilt Exhibit will feature SQC‘s
opportunity quilt, quilts by local and regional quilters, interactive
children’s activities, receptions and much more.
